Junior Marketing Manager

Role Overview

To help our truth-telling journalism get seen by audiences globally, turning readers into subscribers with innovative marketing campaigns. Responsible for using customer insight to inform the subscription marketing strategy, with the aim of retaining and growing our communities.

It will involve working with key stakeholders to combine marketing best practice and campaign management to deliver campaigns across all channels and report on their success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing and Create Meaningful Marketing
  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns from planning to execution, using learnings to improve campaign performance
  • Work with the Digital Marketing team to set up and optimise digital campaigns across email, website and social media
  • Identify and commission customer focus groups and report back to the wider business on product and tech requirements
  • Conduct competitor research to inform industry best practice, making recommendations on how to improve customer experiences
  • Support the Head of Marketing to deliver the marketing strategy across owned and paid channels
  • Collaborate with editorial and commercial to generate leads through marketing activations that support revenue growth
  • Become a Piano super user, utilising the platform to ensure user experiences are on brand and customer friendly

About You

  • Experience or working knowledge of marketing tech stack including, Pardot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Social Suite, CSM platforms, and ESPs.
  • Adept at collaborating, communicating, and working cross functionally to manage stakeholders across the business.
  • A data driven, digital first approach.
  • Experience of implementing broad, B2C, marketing campaigns from start to finish.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Customer Success Executive

Role Overview

The Customer Success Executive role forms part of a newly formed commercial and marketing team.

They will be responsible for working with our key customers to ensure they’re receiving the support

needed to achieve their goals, working with a variety of clients and industries across the NSMG brand portfolio.

They will be able to educate clients about tech and data centric marketing strategies and work closely with them from pre-sales to post-purchase.

This role will take the lead on successful delivery of New Statesman Media Group content partnerships and play a key part in the on-going development of client campaigns across all our brands.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive retention and growth among our most valuable customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed
  • Maintain a cadence of communicating with customers about their adoption trends, sentiment, and opportunities for deeper engagement
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to support trial customers, renewals, and expansion opportunities from pre to post sale.
  • Own the customer lifecycle journey from sale to renewal ensuring they are engaged and satisfied.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the on boarding of new customers, the training of platform end users, as well as post go-live support
  • Identify opportunities for customers to act as advocates (e.g. testimonials, case studies)
  • Delivering and communicating ROI for our clients, throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Responsible for ensuring customer success strategy positively influences account development through higher product adoption, increased customer satisfaction, greater retention, and improved customer health scores.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships at a senior level with key stakeholders across your accounts

Commercial Delivery Manager

Role Overview

To lead the implementation and performance of our commercial campaigns. This role is responsible for the fulfilment and successful delivery of our digital advertising and content targeting campaigns across the business, and any associated optimisation and reporting tasks, whilst delivering first-class service to all stakeholders. Th role reports to the Head of Client Delivery and will be comfortable working with internal sales, marketing & editorial teams and communicating directly with clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake daily campaign fulfilment requests, proactively monitoring, reviewing & setting priorities according to business need, volume & urgency.
  • Provide campaign & availability reporting insight that both meets the needs of clients and supports the business to make best-informed decisions & proposals.
  • Ensure best practice guidelines & standards are upheld to drive operational efficiencies &consistencies.

  • Expert with leading ad servers, especially GAM and have good industry knowledge of data management platforms, programmatic systems, analytics, and brand safety tools.

  • In-depth knowledge of advertising technology and market trends that affect them (Privacy legislation, browser upgrades)

To conceive, write and edit industry-leading thought leadership articles for our partners across New Statesman Media Group’s B2B sites, namely Capital Monitor, Tech Monitor and Press Gazette. Delegate Acquisition Executive

Overview of the Role

We have an exciting position for a Delegate Acquisition Executive to join our team. You must be ambitious and keen to work in a target driven environment in a predominantly telephone based sales role. As things progress, there will be plenty of opportunities to travel and work on more in person events.

You will identify, research and contact senior level and specialist job title executives within a variety of business and industry sectors and be able to present an event with full agenda and with benefits of attending to the qualified decision maker.

Main Responsibilities

  • To establish contact with key decision makers and deliver a compelling and intelligent pitch in line with the company and event requirements
  • To ensure effective communication throughout the delegate journey. Ensuring the event reaches customer expectations at all levels
  • Ensure all personal targets are regularly met
  • To nurture and maintain interest for all delegates and ensure live attendance/logins live on the day and to ensure engagement with sponsors through intros or scheduled meetings. To respond to delegate enquiries in a prompt and professional manner ensuring correct information is communicated

  • Ensuring all business is fully compliant and meets company requirements
